PwC picked Salt Edge as part of the Digital Ecosystem Banking

PwC selected Salt Edge to join its Digital Ecosystem Banking initiative to help banks achieve next‑generation agility, seamless customer experiences and integration with external ecosystems. Facing the challenge of demonstrating how open banking can power a digital bank and integrate multiple fintechs, PwC used Salt Edge’s open banking capabilities — including its data aggregation technology, SaaS APIs and personal finance management (PFM) app — as part of the demo digital bank.

Salt Edge delivered account aggregation, automated data structuring and categorisation, a PFM app for holistic account handling, and open banking payment initiation to support mortgage application flows. The integration enabled faster lending decision‑making and more efficient mortgage repayment processes, moved PwC’s work beyond mere regulatory compliance toward tangible growth opportunities, and positioned Salt Edge as a key partner in the Digital Ecosystem Banking solution.
