Mambu and Salt Edge partner up to help more banks become PSD2 compliant

Mambu partnered with Salt Edge to help its banking customers become PSD2 compliant without each ASPSP having to build public APIs in-house. Mambu, a cloud‑native SaaS banking engine, needed a fast, affordable way to enable open banking for its clients; Salt Edge was chosen to provide its PSD2 compliance and open banking API services to meet that challenge.

Salt Edge delivered a turnkey PSD2 solution — including open banking APIs, a PSD2 channel for TPP communication, dashboards, sandboxes, documentation and TPP verification — giving Mambu’s ASPSP clients full control over third‑party access and speeding time to compliance. The collaboration accelerated onboarding and reduced development overhead: Salt Edge, which connects to 3,400+ financial institutions in 66 countries and has launched 60+ PSD2 API sandboxes, enabled Mambu’s platform (serving over eleven million end customers) to offer compliant open banking capabilities at scale.
