Exprivia | Italtel, an international ICT group active in banking and finance, needed to expand its portfolio with compliant open banking capabilities to help banks, insurers and lenders meet PSD2 requirements and deliver data-driven digital services. To address this challenge Exprivia partnered with Salt Edge, leveraging Salt Edge’s open banking and PSD2 solutions (including the Salt Edge Gateway) to bring secure, standards-aligned connectivity and payment initiation to its customers.

Salt Edge integrated its unified API and gateway into Exprivia’s offerings, giving clients aggregated account data, categorized transactions, strong customer authentication and payment initiation via a single connection to 3700+ banks in 70+ countries. The collaboration enabled faster PSD2 compliance and broader distribution of Salt Edge products while allowing Exprivia to deliver measurable scale and new open-banking services to financial institutions.
