Emma, the London-based money management app, partnered with Salt Edge to enlarge its bank coverage and support expansion into new countries. Emma — an FCA-approved account information service that helps users avoid overdrafts, track debt, cancel subscriptions and save money — needed broader, secure bank connections so customers could link a wider range of accounts.

Salt Edge integrated its financial data aggregation and open banking API into Emma, enabling users to instantly and securely connect accounts from banks across the UK and beyond. By leveraging Salt Edge’s network (35 banks in the UK and 3,100+ financial institutions in 61 countries), Emma gained broader coverage for previously unsupported accounts and a scalable pathway to expand internationally.
