Case Study: EasyPol achieves PSD2-powered account aggregation and unified financial management with Salt Edge

A Salt Edge Case Study

Preview of the EasyPol Case Study

EasyPol aims to boost their payments app with Salt Edge open banking solution

EasyPol, an Italy-based mobile payments app and web service, needed to expand beyond payments to offer a full personal and business financial management platform powered by PSD2. To meet rising Italian demand for digital financial services and deploy recent investment into open banking, EasyPol chose Salt Edge and its open banking/bank data aggregation solution to connect securely to banks across Italy and Europe.

Salt Edge implemented PSD2 APIs and a data enrichment platform that gives EasyPol customers a consolidated view of balances and transactions and feeds improved analytics and financial algorithms (covering earnings, expenses, mortgages, loans and debts). The Salt Edge integration provides access to account information from 2,000+ banks across Europe, strengthened security and reliability, streamlined processes, and positions EasyPol to improve insights for users and expand its market coverage across Europe.
