Billingo to digitalize the billing services with Salt Edge data aggregation

Billingo, the second-largest online invoicer in Hungary, wanted to digitalize its billing services and add bank-data-powered features but did not have its own PSD2/AISP licence. To solve this, Billingo partnered with Salt Edge and joined the Salt Edge Partner Program to gain compliant access to aggregated bank data and PSD2 channels.

Using Salt Edge’s data‑aggregation platform, Billingo connected to nine major Hungarian banks and over 5,000 financial institutions worldwide, automating invoice workflows, enabling invoice‑fulfilment tracking, short‑term liquidity overviews, and sharing account history with accountants. Salt Edge’s solution reduced administrative burdens, let Billingo roll out new digital financial services without obtaining its own PSD2 licence, and expanded the company’s bank coverage to support its growth plans.
