Serco Group plc, the international services and outsourcing company, needed to replace spreadsheets and a manually managed treasury setup that relied on data rekeying across multiple systems. To improve efficiency, accuracy, reporting, control, and real-time transparency across its complex treasury operations, Serco selected Salmon Software and its Salmon Treasurer Treasury Management System (TMS).

Salmon Software implemented Salmon Treasurer TMS to manage Serco’s US private debt, revolving credit facilities, bank guarantees, intercompany lending across more than 70 subsidiaries and joint ventures, as well as FX, cash management, reconciliation, payments, and ERP interfaces. The solution delivered a highly flexible and robust platform with stronger control and faster reporting, while Serco also valued Salmon Software’s responsive support and ability to add new deal types and reporting quickly.
