SEGRO, the UK REIT and major owner and developer of warehouse and light industrial property, needed to replace an ageing treasury management system that couldn’t support its core processes. Cash reporting across 10 UK banks was manual and spreadsheet-based, intercompany activity across 30+ subsidiaries was hard to track, and the team also needed better visibility of FX exposure, interest rates, bonds and debt. SEGRO selected Salmon Software’s Salmon Treasurer after reviewing multiple TMS providers.

Salmon Software implemented Salmon Treasurer, which automated treasury processes, improved cash management and forecasting, supported intercompany financing and deal tracking, and provided real-time visibility across cash, debt and derivatives. The system was implemented remotely, finished ahead of schedule in October versus a December target, and came in on budget. SEGRO said the solution removed much of the spreadsheet work, transformed intercompany funding requests through a web portal, and gave management faster, more accurate treasury information with a scalable, future-proof platform.
