The Langham, a five‑diamond luxury hotel in Chicago undergoing a major refurbishment, needed a flawless, modern video surveillance solution to protect guests, events and a landmarked historic building. To meet that challenge the hotel chose Salient Systems’ CompleteView VMS (installed by certified integrator M&R Electronics) to replace legacy systems and deliver an IP‑based, scalable security platform.

Salient Systems implemented CompleteView with 180 Axis cameras, CV SpotLight and Alarm Client, and a dedicated command center to monitor floors LL2–13. The event‑based alarm pop‑ups, audio alerts and motion‑based recording let operators quickly focus on incidents (2x2 camera tiles and sequenced playback), improving situational awareness, centralized monitoring and reliable evidence capture—delivering measurable improvements in response capability and guest security.
