City Creek Center, a major downtown Salt Lake City redevelopment spanning residential towers, retail and parking across 10 city blocks, needed a scalable, networked surveillance solution to secure construction, parking and public spaces while keeping costs down. Integrator Protection Technologies selected Axis and Arecont IP cameras and the Salient Systems VMS (CompleteView Pro) to meet the project’s high-resolution, network-first requirements.

Salient Systems’ VMS was deployed as the head-end platform, integrating 350 cameras (including Axis PTZs and an Arecont 360° unit) and enabling powerful PTZ control, instant access and seamless expansion. Salient Systems’ licensing model reduced license counts (one license for the Arecont 360° vs. four elsewhere), saving 78 licenses and roughly $17,550 in upfront fees and maintenance, and delivered stable, glitch-free operation throughout rollout.
