Short Circuit Electronics, a nationwide security integrator for a leading athletic footwear and apparel retailer, faced the challenge of securing and centrally managing multiple high‑concept “Mega Stores,” including a Times Square location with more than 100 IP and 360° cameras. To meet the customer’s need for scalable, high‑performance video management and loss prevention monitoring, Short Circuit deployed Hanwha Techwin cameras and turned to Salient Systems’ CompleteView VMS to aggregate and manage the large volume of video feeds.

Salient Systems implemented its CompleteView VMS to power and centralize video from over 100 cameras at the Times Square store, providing the processing “horsepower” loss prevention teams needed and seamless integration with the camera fleet. The solution delivered complete in‑store coverage, improved motion detection and operational monitoring, and has been duplicated across other Mega Stores (Los Angeles, Chicago and more); working with agile partners like Salient Systems helped Short Circuit scale nationwide—enabling rapid rollouts and supporting initiatives such as a 6,600‑store upgrade completed in seven months.
