Elevations Credit Union partnered with Salient Process to improve how it documented, understood, and reused its business processes as part of a broader push toward process excellence. The credit union lacked clear process documentation and visibility into how workflows across the organization were interconnected, which made it difficult to streamline operations and better serve members.

Salient Process implemented IBM Blueworks Live, a cloud-based process mapping and collaboration tool, to help Elevations build an enterprise process repository and identify bottlenecks and redundancies. The results were significant: average time to fund home equity loans fell by 52%, loans handled per underwriter increased by 300%, vehicle loan funding time dropped from 10–13 days to 4–5 days, and monthly consumer loan volume rose from 483 to 659 with the same staff.
