Alpine Electronics, a global supplier of automotive audio and information communications equipment, needed to ensure its quality management system (QMS) met customer expectations across regions and could adapt to increasingly strict transnational auditing requirements. To address this challenge, Alpine worked with Salient Process and used IBM Blueworks Live as a cloud-based process modeling and management tool.
With the IBM Blueworks Live solution implemented by Salient Process, Alpine centralized and unified more than 120 QMS process subcategories so users across 6,000 accounts could access the latest process versions. The company reduced process modeling time to about one month, improved global consistency and cross-organization communication, and increased business efficiency through dynamic, continuously updated process management.
