Sugar House Coffee (SHC), a Salt Lake City café and catering business serving breakfast, lunch and locally sourced fare since 2002, needed to replace a very outdated PC-based Coffee Shop Manager POS with a mobile solution that could sync shop devices with on-the-go devices for catering and provide better inventory management. After evaluating options like Square, Sugar House Coffee selected the SalesVu iPad POS System, citing SalesVu’s pricing model and 24-hour free support.
SalesVu implemented its restaurant POS with inventory management, receipt printing/email, a smartphone-enabled product editor, and an employee time clock, with plans to add ecommerce and QuickBooks integration. SalesVu’s solution saved Sugar House Coffee more than $1,000 a month in merchant fees, sped up customer ordering and employee training, and made payroll and price updates quicker and easier.
