Ravenfox Studios, a small art studio creating 2D and 3D perler bead pieces based on video games, anime, comics and original designs, needed a better way to manage more than 200 individual items and high-volume sales at conventions. After using Square, they chose SalesVu’s mobile POS on iPad/iPhone to provide inventory tracking, category/subcategory organization, customizable items and receipt capabilities.

SalesVu implemented inventory controls, custom item buttons, flexible discounting, exportable sales reports and an embeddable shop widget so Ravenfox could accept cards, sell online and plan stock by event. The result was faster checkouts (replacing handwritten receipts), easier tax reporting, fewer lost sales and larger orders at conventions, plus measurable time and cost savings and improved inventory-driven stocking decisions — all enabled by SalesVu.
