Wingate University Scales Admissions Operations with Salesforce

Wingate University, a private institution in North Carolina with roughly 3,600 students and 37% growth over five years, needed a more scalable way to manage admissions and student communications. Before, staff relied on multiple computers and Outlook for mass emails and had no centralized marketing or community platform, which made sustaining rapid enrollment growth difficult.

By implementing Salesforce (Marketing Cloud and Lightning Sales Cloud) and Enrollment Rx—going live four months after project start—Wingate created a centralized, self‑service communications and admissions platform and trained administrators to use it effectively. As a result, admitted applications grew from 5,000 to 15,000 and matriculation rose from 685 to 1,157, while savings from in‑house marketing were redirected to expansion and recruiting efforts.
