Unseen - Customer Case Study

Unseen is a UK charity founded in 2008 to fight modern slavery and help the millions affected worldwide. The organisation runs safe houses, a 24/7 helpline, a reporting app and intelligence-gathering services, but faces rapidly growing demand — in 2018 it identified 7,121 potential victims (a 46% rise) and receives about 800 contacts a month — while operating with a lean team of 20. Managing and quickly sharing sensitive case data across police, Border Force and partner charities is critical to rescuing and supporting victims.

Unseen adopted Salesforce to structure case records, give helpline advisors immediate access to full histories, and enable faster, safer handovers between agencies. It is also rolling out a shared Salesforce-based platform with partners in Kenya to improve cross-border intelligence sharing. The improved processes and insights have helped Unseen scale its impact — removing thousands from exploitation, increasing support provision (75 individuals/families helped in 2018, up 25% year-on-year) and positioning the charity to help more people more effectively.
