Case Study: (RED) scales fundraising and partnerships to fight AIDS with Salesforce for Nonprofits

A Salesforce for Nonprofits Case Study

Preview of the Red Case Study

To fight AIDS in Africa, (RED) uses personalized communication and data analytics

(RED) is a nonprofit founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver that drives corporate contributions to The Global Fund to fight AIDS by partnering with consumer brands. Charged with reducing mother-to-child HIV transmission and demonstrating measurable impact to partners and Millennials, the 18-person team needed to scale personalized communications, manage dozens of corporate relationships, and provide transparent data on results while mobilizing private-sector funding.

Partnering with Salesforce and using Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, App Cloud and Analytics Cloud (supported by Salesforce’s 1-1-1 model) let (RED) automate personalized outreach, centralize partner and campaign data, and report impact clearly. The technology amplified a small team’s capacity, helped mobilize more than $360 million from partners, improved transparency and engagement, and accelerated progress toward dramatically reducing infant HIV infections.
