The Royal Dutch Guide Dog Foundation improves donor and client relations with Salesforce

The Royal Dutch Guide Dog Foundation (KNGF), founded in 1935, trains guide dogs and supports people with disabilities while relying heavily on fundraising to sustain and grow its programs. KNGF’s legacy CRM was outdated, required IT intervention for updates and reporting, and couldn’t handle modern media or flexible donor segmentation, which limited personalised engagement with donors, clients and volunteers.

KNGF implemented Salesforce Sales Cloud combined with the Converse app from partner Step Orange to build a 360° view of members, donors and volunteers, record donations and payments, and allow fundraisers to run segmentation and communications without IT. The change delivered more efficient, personalised fundraising, improved tracking of ambassadors and donation spend, and opened new opportunities to extend Salesforce across the organisation.
