A Salesforce for Nonprofits Case Study
Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) is a nationwide NGO providing educational programs for 7–16 year-olds, serving 150,000 children annually with some 10,000 volunteers across dozens of learning units. Facing a fragmented IT landscape of more than ten separate applications, TEGV needed a scalable, mobile, cloud-based solution that would reduce maintenance overhead, streamline processes and ensure business continuity.
TEGV implemented Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Chatter, Force.com/Platform, Data.com and an AppExchange integration) to centralize processes, integrate systems and enable real-time collaboration. The platform gave staff and volunteers instant access to up-to-date information, simplified administration and reduced manual work, while Chatter boosted volunteer communication, resource sharing and engagement—improving operational efficiency and volunteer loyalty.
