Strengthening Relationships with Donors through Pardot

Shared Hope International is an 18‑person nonprofit that prevents, restores and advances justice for adults and children victimized by sex trafficking. After seeing a steep decline in donor support between 2014 and 2016, the organization needed better tools to understand, re‑engage and grow its donor base to sustain its prevention, restoration and advocacy programs.

By moving to Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack and Pardot (plus V4S, Phone2Action and WealthEngine), Shared Hope built segmented, automated donor journeys, improved volunteer management and tracked acquisition channels. The results: 20,000 new names added in 2017, a single campaign that gathered 4,500 names in six months, a 58% increase in new name acquisition, nearly 800 new donors from mail, funding growth of 10% (2017–18) and 10.5% (2018–19), and far faster reporting and donor insights.
