Salesforce Transforms RMIT Into a Future-Ready University

RMIT University, a global multi‑sector institution with more than 91,000 students and 11,000 staff, set out to reinvent itself around the strategy “Ready for Life and Work.” To do that it needed a digital transformation to replace dozens of point solutions that left information siloed and made it hard to get a single view of students, researchers, industry partners and staff — limiting personalization, recruiting efficiency, and campus collaboration.

RMIT piloted and then rolled out Salesforce Education Cloud (backed by Education Data Architecture) including Sales, Marketing and Community Clouds to create a single platform across the university. The deployment delivered a 360° view of constituents and personalized experiences, tripled prospective-student lead qualification, drove strong adoption of a researcher portal, enabled a Digital Marketplace with 100,000+ digital credential enrollments, and allowed RMIT to in‑source services while improving staff efficiency and satisfaction.
