Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin Counties needed a modern CRM to better manage donors and customers across its website and 17 retail stores, unify marketing from a single database, build business intelligence, and create a template solution to share with other Goodwill affiliates.
Using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Force.com, Goodwill deployed CRM to 150 employees in a few months, centralizing donor and customer records and integrating the website to auto-create accounts, contacts, and opportunities while sending automated receipts and responses. The result: a much larger donor database, better cross-department information sharing and reporting (including IRS requirements), streamlined donation drives, and improved job-placement outcomes for program participants trained on the system.
