Polaris Project, a nonprofit fighting human trafficking, needed to speed up and improve responses to confidential hotline calls and unify data that was fragmented across Excel sheets and paper-based 8-page intake forms. Siloed case, hotline, and policy data made timely analysis and coordinated case management difficult as call volume grew.

Polaris chose Salesforce (Service Cloud and Force.com) for its low cost, rapid deployment, and scalability, and rolled out an Enterprise Edition solution in nine weeks with Force.com Sites and workflow routing. The new system captures hotline reports digitally, provides 360-degree client views, and delivers real-time reports and dashboards—enabling faster, better-coordinated responses, easier funder reporting, and clearer demonstration of impact.
