MAF Netherlands is flying high with Salesforce

MAF Netherlands, part of the Mission Aviation Fellowship, operates aircraft to deliver medical aid and supplies to people in remote, hard‑to‑reach areas and relies on donations, pilots and volunteers to keep planes flying. Facing limited resources and an unstable volunteer‑built CRM that couldn’t integrate with their website or bookkeeping, they needed a scalable platform to streamline fundraising, operations and donor engagement.

In June 2016 they implemented Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, Service Cloud and Chatter) to launch a donor self‑service community, automate webshop payments, centralize finance tracking and improve call handling and internal collaboration. The result was faster, more accurate reporting, fewer support calls and manual tasks, more productive staff, increased donor capacity and new plans to expand event management and smarter donor nurturing.
