Kesem is a national nonprofit that runs Camp Kesem and year‑round programs for children impacted by a parent’s cancer, supported by 4,000+ student leaders across more than 100 college chapters. Rapid growth exposed limits in its legacy donation system—it couldn’t edit donations, integrate with email and accounting tools, or link donors to specific chapters—making it hard to coordinate national and chapter fundraising or scale operations.
Kesem implemented Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack with Classy (implemented by Cloud for Good) to create a scalable, integrated donor-management hub and 360° view of constituents. The new system enabled better reporting and coordination, tripled the number of chapters Kesem can onboard annually, and helped revenue grow from $3.1M to over $10M in four years, allowing the organization to open 19 new chapters this year.
