Invisible Children is a growing nonprofit dedicated to stopping the use of child soldiers in central Africa. With international operations, the organization needed a better way to manage fundraising, event planning, program management and marketing — tasks that were cumbersome and hard to share using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and legacy tools like Kintera.
Invisible Children implemented Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com), rolling out CRM to 80 staff in one month and building custom solutions: an inventory system for merchandise, automated event registration, dynamic websites fed by real-time data, and the LRA Tracker mapping platform and iPhone app. The platform delivered real-time business data, improved planning and efficiency, provided granular reports and dashboards, and increased transparency and awareness around their mission.
