GOSH Charity helps more sick children with smarter fundraising and richer content

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) raises around £100 million a year to support the London hospital’s care, research, equipment and family services, but its legacy systems and manual processes made it hard to personalize supporter journeys, access critical data, and scale stewardship across 350,000 supporters and 2,000 volunteers. The charity needed a major digital and operating overhaul to protect mission-critical funding and improve donor engagement.

Working with Salesforce.org and partners, GOSH re-engineered fundraising, finance and operations using NPSP, Service, Marketing and Analytics Clouds, migrating 100 million records and launching mobile donation and event apps. The overhaul cut administration by 50%, turned static reports into real‑time dashboards (major-donor reporting and month-end summaries reduced from hours/days to instant access), improved personalization and payments for 180,000 regular donors, and enabled the charity to raise more money at lower cost with better insight-driven decisions.
