Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, vaccinates hundreds of millions of children worldwide and has a goal to protect the next 300 million, but its work depends on managing complex relationships with countries, donors and partners and getting real-time visibility into grant applications, renewals and program performance. To scale impact and speed decision-making, Gavi needed to simplify stakeholder interactions, consolidate data, and modernize workflows across a diverse global ecosystem.

Using Salesforce (Nonprofit Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales & Marketing Clouds, the Salesforce Platform and Tableau CRM) Gavi built country and partner portals that digitalize applications, reporting and renewals, give real-time grant status and centralize data for analysis. The solution has shortened and clarified processes, enabled data-driven decisions and knowledge sharing across countries, supports the COVAX rollout to distribute ~2 billion COVID-19 doses to 191 countries, and underpins Gavi’s target to improve grant processing by 25% while keeping administrative overheads extremely low.
