Elevate Energy is an Illinois-based nonprofit that designs and runs energy-efficiency programs for low- and moderate-income communities, serving more than 60,000 families across two dozen programs. Rapid growth exposed limits in their legacy, siloed systems (Excel and an outdated CRM), making it difficult to manage contacts, enrollments and program data in one place and undermining their ability to scale and demonstrate impact to funders and partners.
By deploying Salesforce (App Cloud) they integrated website enrollment forms, automated workflows and a Five9 call-center app to route tasks, update statuses and surface real-time client data. The result: faster, more personalized service, stronger reporting for Chicago’s building-energy benchmarking, increased credibility with stakeholders, and measurable impact—helping save over 40,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases and creating a repeatable model other cities can adopt.
