The UVA Frank Batten School of Leadership & Public Policy sought to make the student experience—from prospect to graduate—more connected and student‑centric, but was hampered by siloed departments, manual spreadsheets and paper notes, ineffective systems, and advisors overwhelmed by email and scheduling work that often led to lost records and a fragmented student experience.

Batten implemented Salesforce Advisor Link with Community Cloud, Einstein Analytics and the Education Data Architecture to create a one‑stop portal and a trusted 360° student record. Within months advisors could schedule meetings online, share notes across teams, and access unified dashboards—resulting in faster student access to services, higher advisor job satisfaction, better cross‑department collaboration, and data‑driven insights that support continuous improvement.
