Employee-led fundraiser allows TOUCH Senior Activity Centre to start new ‘Seniors Caring for Seniors’ program

TOUCH Senior Activity Centre is a Singapore-based community organization that supports frail, home-bound and socially isolated older adults. Facing growing loneliness and limited resources to provide regular companionship and basic assistance that can delay healthcare or institutional care, TOUCH sought funding and a volunteer model to expand outreach into vulnerable neighbourhoods.

Through a Salesforce.org employee-led, company-wide fundraiser with donation matching, TOUCH launched the “Seniors Caring for Seniors” program, supported by Sales Cloud for volunteer management. The initiative raised over SGD100,000 (with $80,000+ in grants), trained 45 senior volunteers (targeting 70), delivered 1,565+ volunteer hours, and now sees 41 volunteers visiting 50+ frail elderly weekly—boosting volunteers’ self-worth, building social support networks, and improving beneficiaries’ quality of life.
