Barnardo’s is the UK’s largest children’s charity, dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children. Facing rising demand, a limited home-grown fundraising platform and new data/privacy regulations, the charity needed to double income over ten years and build long-term, personalized donor relationships at scale.

Working with Salesforce.org and partners, Barnardo’s moved fundraising onto Salesforce (NPSP, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Salesforce1), centralizing campaign management, consent tracking and donor preferences. The platform enabled personalized multi-channel outreach (SMS and targeted emails), better reporting and mobile engagement, boosting donor acquisition and engagement while freeing staff time to direct more funds to children.
