A Salesforce for Nonprofits Case Study
Southern New Hampshire University’s College for America (CfA) set out to redesign higher education for working adults and was tasked with launching an Associate Degree program in just four months. The challenge was to rapidly build a scalable, connected system that could manage student data end-to-end, link recruiting, student success, marketing and IT, and deliver a seamless experience for learners.
CfA adopted Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Pardot, Data.com), building its competency-based LMS on App Cloud and integrating multiple systems to create a 360-degree student view. Salesforce powers project tracking, reviewer feedback, an early-warning system, Knowledge articles and Live Agent chat, and case management across channels—enabling CfA to launch a new initiative in three weeks, maintain continuous visibility from application to graduation, and position the program to scale enrollment while improving student support and affordability.
