A Salesforce for Nonprofits Case Study
Adim Adim is a volunteer-based Turkish nonprofit that mobilizes fundraising by sponsoring runners in local races. Facing a culture of low individual giving and manual operations (65,000 lines of participant data in Excel), the founders needed a scalable, digital platform to manage runners, donors and NGOs and improve online engagement.
They implemented Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack with MailChimp, and built a cross‑platform customer app on Heroku (Postgres + Connect) integrating local payment processor Yuvarla. The move enabled a one-day data migration, boosted credit-card donations from 5% to 70%, and powered rapid growth — 1,500 participants raised $750,000 at the Istanbul Marathon — while increasing NGOs supported by 50%, donors by 110%, donations by 50%, runners by 90% and corporate teams by 160%; Adim Adim also helped lift Turkey’s individual giving from ~10% to over 30%.
