Camara is a social enterprise that improves education and helps children escape poverty by providing technology, training teachers, and working with local partners — to date putting over 100,000 computers into schools and reaching millions of students. As the organisation expanded, it faced fragmented spreadsheets and paper processes, poor visibility into donated assets and partner activity, and limited data to prove impact and drive fundraising.
Camara adopted Salesforce Sales Cloud (plus Inbox, the Mobile App and AppExchange tools) to centralise asset tracking, partner and donor management, visitor sign-ins and reporting. The single platform boosted efficiency and visibility, enabled personalised donor communications with photos and metrics, helped target support for at‑risk students, and produced measurable impact data (for example a 15% performance gain in a Zambia project) that strengthened grant applications and supported Camara’s plans to scale its work.
