Bosma Enterprises is a nonprofit founded in 1915 that provides rehabilitation, job training and employment for people who are blind or visually impaired and runs Indiana’s largest medical supply business staffed largely by workers with vision loss. Facing a unique dual mission, Bosma had to stitch together more than 30 incompatible systems to track rehabilitation progress, manage inventory and process purchase orders, which created silos, manual workarounds and prohibitive custom‑development costs.
Working with NextGen Consulting, Bosma consolidated operations on Salesforce (Sales Cloud and App Cloud) and installed AppExchange apps—including FinancialForce ERP, Linvio PaymentConnect, volunteer management and UPS integration—to create a single, accessible point of entry for all employees. The unified, 508‑compliant solution delivered seamless integrations, greater transparency across divisions, streamlined purchasing and improved staff effectiveness, enabling Bosma to better serve clients and operate more efficiently.
