Ashoka, a global organization supporting social entrepreneurs in more than 65 countries, needed a single, integrated infrastructure to manage rapid growth. Lacking a unified source of institutional knowledge and an effective way to manage its network of nominators and entrepreneurs across 24 offices and 10 mission-critical programs, Ashoka sought a cloud solution to strengthen identity, drive collaboration, and reduce costs.
Ashoka selected the Force.com platform and deployed it in 25 countries across five languages with support from partners and Salesforce.org. Using Force.com, Chatter, and Heroku, they consolidated 30 disparate databases into a single, real-time system, improved organizational integration and responsiveness via Chatter, and launched the Heroku-built AshokaHub to connect Fellows worldwide—establishing a scalable foundation for global collaboration and impact.
