Algonquin College, a public college in Canada’s capital, faced a demographic shift and intensifying competition as the number of high-school graduates declined. To stay competitive and modernize recruiting and campus services, the college implemented a campus-wide Salesforce transformation to reimagine how it attracts, manages and supports students and employees.
Using Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, App Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities and Chatter, Algonquin automated lead capture from its website and social channels, added lead scoring and targeted communications, and built a custom iPad recruiting app. The platform was also extended to advancement, corporate training and IT (with Service Cloud and Knowledge) and an employee community. Within a year lead generation rose 23%, collateral fulfillment time fell by over 50%, and recruiter productivity tripled.
