AIME Combats Indigenous Educational Disadvantage with Salesforce

AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience) partners with schools and universities to mentor Indigenous students through high school into further study or work, but rapid growth and complex volunteer, student and fundraising administration threatened its ability to scale. Managing thousands of student records, volunteer recruitment and program logistics across regions created heavy manual overhead and made it difficult to capture outcomes that secure funding.

By deploying Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack and Community Cloud to replace spreadsheets, AIME automated student enrolment and attendance tracking, centralized supporter and donation data, and created an online mentor portal for applications and training. The platform enabled growth from 787 to 6,000 mentees, reduced administrative burden, and helped demonstrate impact—year 12 attainment for participants is 93.7% and 90% of mentors report improved university experience—strengthening funding and expansion plans.
