A $200K grant will allow CoderDojo to reach 420 new students by expanding its programing in Europe

CoderDojo is a global network of free, volunteer-led coding clubs for kids aged 7–17 that teaches programming, web and app development, and fosters interest in STEM. Facing high demand from parents and limited capacity as a charity reliant on volunteers, CoderDojo needed support to scale its programs and reach more young people, especially in Europe.

Salesforce.org awarded a $300,000 grant, donated 6,500+ volunteer hours, and supported CoderDojo with Sales Cloud and the Nonprofit Starter Pack to help scale operations. The funding and employee mentorship will establish 14 Salesforce-backed Dojos, certify 70 employee mentors, and reach 420 new students (with a 50/50 gender split) through expanded European programming.
