Gardeners Dream, a leading UK online garden product retailer, established in 2009, sought to address the significant impact of basket abandonment on their business and improve the overall online customer journey. To tackle this challenge, they partnered with vendor Salesfire and implemented their Overlays product.

Salesfire implemented exit intent campaigns and behavioural triggers using their Overlays to inspire customers to continue their journey and increase average basket value. The solution offered promotions that encouraged checkout completion and made sales more noticeable. The results were outstanding, with Salesfire delivering an unbelievable 104:1 return on investment, influencing 11% of all orders, and directly resulting in a sale from 15.7% of its interactions.
