BdB Group, a national group of stores specializing in construction materials with hundreds of associates, needed to move from fragmented, manual Excel-based processes to a centralized, system-connected platform to improve communication between departments and partners. To solve this they turned to Sales Layer and its PIM to integrate and digitize their product catalog and site workflows.
Sales Layer implemented a connected PIM that powers BdB Group’s website and new ecommerce for associates, automating updates and streamlining internal processes. As a result, BdB scaled from 3,000 to 10,400 references in a year, reduced catalog production from two months to two weeks, processed more than 600 online orders in under three months, and now produces promotional materials in minutes.
