Heering is a Dutch supplier of low‑maintenance plastic profiles and panels for the construction industry whose product catalog contains extensive technical specifications that must meet strict manufacturer and distributor requirements. Before implementing Sales Layer, Heering stored product information in its ERP and held marketing assets across different formats and servers, creating fragmentation and slowing down catalog management — so they trialed and chose the Sales Layer PIM.
Sales Layer implemented a centralized PIM that connects to Heering’s ERP, consolidates images, technical layouts and marketing files, automatically imports Excel documents, and manages website and export channels (e‑commerce, marketplaces, catalogue printing). During the trial Heering found Sales Layer intuitive and highly configurable; the rollout produced faster, more efficient workflows, centralized product data for all channels, and reliable automated exports that improved agility and reduced manual handling.
