Pastorfrigor is an Italian refrigeration-technology company (founded 1964) that designs and manufactures cold stores and refrigerated counters for global supermarket chains. The company faced slow, fragmented product content management across manufacturing sites in Italy, Slovakia, Dubai and Romania, with multiple versions of product data, duplicated effort updating websites and printed literature, and delays that hindered sales — so Pastorfrigor engaged Sales Layer and its Product Information Management (PIM) solution to address these issues.
Sales Layer implemented a centralized PIM that connects all countries to a single database, enables local translation and sharing, automates multilingual datasheets and brochures, and feeds current product data to all websites; it was further integrated with Libris Branding Manager and powered a new multi‑language filter system. As a result, Sales Layer delivered instant, group‑wide product updates in multiple languages, streamlined content production and distribution, accelerated Pastorfrigor’s digitization, and improved the balance between resource investment and sales conversion (no numeric metrics were provided in the case study).
