Powerslide, a leading European maker of in-line roller blades, roller skates and ice skates, was hampered by product information scattered across massive Excel files and teams around the world—making backups, sharing, cross-referencing and repeated data entry slow and error-prone. To modernize catalog management, Powerslide selected Sales Layer and its PIM system to centralize and simplify their product data.
Sales Layer implemented a centralized PIM with Excel-like editing, automated connectors to Shopify, eBay, Amazon and ERPs, instant digital catalogs and customer-success support. As a result, Powerslide reduced duplicate data entry (previously 3–4 times) to a single entry, moved from two product launches per year to updates every few months, improved data accuracy across more than 1,000 products, and sped up customer-query and incident resolution—measurable operational gains delivered by Sales Layer.
