Travel Holdings, a global travel distribution company, was struggling with extremely high online booking abandonment rates, a major issue for travel brands. To address this, it worked with SaleCycle and its booking recovery email solution across Easy Click Travel and Last Minute Travel sites, using timing tests to reach customers while they were still in a buying mindset.
SaleCycle implemented an abandoned-booking email campaign integrated with Travel Holdings’ booking engine. The campaign delivered strong results, including a 52% email open rate, revenue of $15.15 per recovery email, and an increase of more than 5% in bottom-line online sales.
