THORPE PARK Resort, one of the UK’s top visitor attractions, was struggling with high booking abandonment and wanted to improve its online customer journey. To address this challenge, it worked with SaleCycle using SMS remarketing to re-engage visitors who left before completing their ticket bookings.
SaleCycle implemented timely, personalized SMS messages sent 30 minutes after abandonment, with shortened links taking customers back to their booking pages. The campaign was highly effective, generating a 32% click-through rate, almost 7% of clickers converting to purchase, and a 5% increase in THORPE PARK Resort’s online sales.
