Tesco Broadband’s abandoned basket email campaign has increased online sales by over 4.6%

Tesco Broadband, part of Tesco, wanted to recover abandoned online baskets while keeping its customer service experience strong. To do this, Tesco worked with SaleCycle, using its cart abandonment recovery and email split testing tools to re-engage shoppers who left before completing a broadband purchase.

SaleCycle implemented a real-time abandoned basket email campaign, supported by TagMan and Tradedoubler for a quick setup. Tesco used SaleCycle’s AB split testing to refine messaging and creative, and the campaign delivered a measurable uplift in online sales of over 4.6%, while also improving the customer experience.
