ghd faced the common retail challenge of basket abandonment, with many visitors leaving without completing a purchase. To recover this lost revenue, ghd partnered with SaleCycle to create an integrated email remarketing program, using product recommendations and customer reviews to encourage shoppers to return and finish their orders.
SaleCycle implemented the campaign with branded remarketing emails and review-based social proof. The results were strong: ghd achieved an email open rate of over 46%, increased overall online sales by almost 2.5%, and saw conversion rates rise by 57% when product reviews were included in emails.
